Residents in the Philadelphia region will cast ballots on Tuesday under clear skies and above-average warmth. The weather service reports no rain is expected, allowing voters to head to polling places without carrying umbrellas. Morning conditions may include patchy fog, but sunshine returns as the day progresses.
Temperatures will start in the upper 30s during the early commute. By afternoon, highs will reach 72 degrees. This marks the 17th consecutive day of dry weather in the area. Winds remain light, making conditions suitable for outdoor activities before or after voting.
The warm stretch continues into Wednesday. Highs will climb to 75 degrees, which is nearly 15 degrees above the historical average for early November. Morning fog is possible again, but the day will otherwise remain beautiful and dry.
A shift in the pattern arrives Thursday. Showers become increasingly likely during the evening hours. Rain chances persist through Thursday night and into Friday. Despite the precipitation, temperatures will stay in the low 70s. The system moves away by the weekend, bringing back sunshine for Saturday.
Saturday highs will reach the mid-60s. A more noticeable cooldown arrives Sunday as temperatures settle into the lower 60s. This shift brings conditions much closer to the typical range for early November. A chance of showers returns Monday with a high of 58.
