Rumors of death spread across social media platforms on Tuesday evening, prompting a public response from the team of Peruvian broadcaster Laura Bozzo. The speculation followed her recent hospitalization in Mexico City for a serious gastrointestinal condition.

Aarón Guerrero, who serves as both Bozzo's assistant and driver, addressed the misinformation via Instagram on Wednesday. He stated that the reports of her passing were false. "We categorically refute said information," Guerrero wrote in the post. He urged the public and news outlets to verify facts before sharing them to avoid spreading unconfirmed rumors.

Guerrero did not provide specific clinical details regarding Bozzo's current status. He asked for continued solidarity from followers but left the medical specifics to the attending physicians. The message was shared by Bozzo's daughter, Alejandra de la Fuente.

Alejandra Palomera, the representative for Bozzo, confirmed the denial through People en Español. Palomera expressed frustration with the rapid spread of speculation about the lawyer's health. "I don't know why they do that," Palomera said. She noted that the team is waiting for doctors to provide an update on Bozzo's recovery before releasing further details.

The situation remains tense for the family. Carlo Uriel, a collaborator of journalist Flor Rubio, claimed he spoke directly with Bozzo's daughter on X. Uriel reported that Alejandra de la Fuente described her mother's health state as "very delicate." The family has requested prayers for a swift recovery.

Bozzo underwent surgery on October 13 for a gastric ulcer that ruptured. She was subsequently transferred to a hospital in Mexico City where she remains admitted. The timeline of the rumors began Tuesday, October 27, when posts appeared on X claiming she had died.

Actor Alfredo Adame contributed to the confusion by posting an image on Instagram that read "Laura Bozzo rests in peace." He later removed the post from his profile. The incident highlights the speed at which unverified information circulates among celebrity circles and the public.
