Mark Jobe begins a new teaching series at New Life Community Church.
The founding pastor of the Chicago-based ministry is currently broadcasting a segment titled "The Crossing." This program is part of his ongoing Bible study series, Bold Steps, produced by Moody Global Media. Jobe previously served as the president of Moody Bible Institute and now shares ministry leadership with his wife, Dee.
In the initial episode, Jobe analyzes Joshua chapter 3. He describes a crossing as a specific moment of transition. According to the teaching, such moments can direct a person toward an intended destination. Alternatively, they can become sites of danger and poor decisions. The message focuses on preparation for these transitional phases and the act of stepping forward in obedience.
New Life Community Church operates as a multi-campus organization. It maintains more than 25 locations throughout the Chicago area. The ministry also founded New Life Centers, an initiative that serves thousands of at-risk youth in the city. Jobe's stated goal is to see lives transformed through the power of the Bible.
Listeners can access the teaching through the Bold Steps platform. The series offers candid, topical teaching from God's Word. Jobe aims to provide simple gospel messages that encourage freedom and authenticity in Christ.
The segment includes a gift from Anne Graham Lotz, titled "Jesus In Me." Viewers and listeners are invited to visit or watch the program to follow the series.
