Chloe Fineman watched You Can See Everything and could not stop thinking about it.
Fineman made the comments on the red carpet of the 2026 TIME100 Next Gala in New York City on Oct. 29. She called the new hit documentary about Elizabeth Holmes amazing. The film follows Holmes, her partner Billy Evans, and their two children during a 34-day period in 2023. This timeframe occurred just before Holmes began serving a federal prison sentence after a 2022 fraud conviction.
The documentary was directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim. It has grossed more than $45 million since its U.S. theatrical release earlier this month. Critics have praised the film while online discourse remains heated. Fineman wrote the 2026 TIME100 Next profile on fashion designer Daniella Kallmeyer.
In 2019, Fineman posted an Instagram video impersonating Holmes. She wore Holmes' signature black turtleneck and heavy black eyeliner in the clip. Fineman reshared that video on TikTok in September, ahead of the film's release. On the red carpet, she joked that Holmes is a kindred spirit because neither of them blinks frequently.
Fineman expressed excitement about the Halloween costumes the documentary might inspire this year. She identified one specific scene that stayed with her. Fineman described a moment involving egg whisking as really haunting for many men and women. She noted that the film contained a lot of harrowing moments.
The TIME100 Next Gala was presented by Rolex, Toyota, American Airlines, Danantara, Project Management Institute, and Target.
